Your Academic Portfolio

Upon completion of your EF course, you will receive official certification of your language studies with us that employers, universities and government authorities in over 150 countries will recognize. Below is a list of documents that may be part of your EF Academic Portfolio.

EF Course Certificate

All EF International Language School students receive the EF Course Certificate, proof that you've successfully completed a course of study with us.

EF Language Assessment

After a course of four weeks or more, you will receive the EF Language Assessment, which contains a detailed account of your linguistic progress in all areas of your study language.

EF Course Report

The EF Course Report lists all courses you have taken and the grades you received during your studies. Minimum four-week course.

Internationally-recognized Examination Results

With EF, you can prepare for one of the official proficiency exams, such as Cambridge and TOEFL. For a complete listing of exams, click here. Many EF Academic Year students choose to take two exams during their 9-month course, and return home with internationally-recognized exam results.

US University Certification

All of our course programs are certified by Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), an accredited member of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. You can opt to receive an official academic certificate from Southern New Hampshire University at the end of your course.

EF Certificate of International Internship

Use your developing language skills in the workplace abroad and get documented, unpaid work experience. At the end of your internship, receive a Certificate of International Internship. Many students also receive a personal letter of recommendation from the company.
