With more than 40 years of experience of language education there is no coincidence that EF’s courses are approved and certified by the worlds leading language organizations and committees. But we don’t stop there. To always be in the forefront we have our own EF Pedagogical Council consisting of language education specialists who produce our own educational material. We’re the only language company who does that.
Our first customers packed their suitcases and set off on their EF voyage of discovery in summer 1965. Today EF is everyhere you are—with 70 offices in 50 countries. No other organization has EF’s experience, internationality or quality standards. We pride ourselves in keeping pace with the times over the years, offering new ways of learning, and exotic new places to learn in.
WCLT All our language courses are approved by the WCLT (World Council of Language Teaching) Members of the board visit our destinations every year to ensure we meet our commitment to provide you with high quality language programmes
EF's Pedagogical Council. The quality of our lessons is so important to us that we've assembled our own panel of international teaching experts to design our course books and teaching materials. Under the direction of Lennart Björk, who holds doctorates in Education from both Oxford and Princeton Universities, EF's Pedagogical Council meets regularly to evaluate and update our educational curriculum.
FIYTO and ALTO. EF Language Travel is a member of FIYTO (Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations) which helps us stay current with changing trends in the youth travel industry, as well as ALTO (Association of Language Travel organizations), an international association of language schools and language travel agents and associations who offer the highest standards in language travel abroad.
